Can a game help save a life? Rabin Martin will be presenting the bridge2care platform at the 9th Annual Games for Global Health Conference, this coming Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Boston.
Rabin Martin team members David Golub and Annie Costello will show how bridge2care, an e-learning platform developed for Merck & Co., Inc., Kenilworth, NJ USA, is helping U.S. health care professionals to improve the quality of HIV care delivery. Design to advance evidence-based curriculum, bridge2care combines realistic, video-based patient-provider simulations with knowledge games to create a unique interactive learning experience.
Despite progress over the past 30 years, 1.2 million people are infected with HIV in the U.S. and a third aren’t getting the care they need. In line with the National HIV AIDS Strategy, bridge2care was created to improve the capacity of those responsible for ensuring that patients get the care they need and stay there.
