Samantha brings her background in international development and passion for advancing access to medicines to Rabin Martin. With robust knowledge of global health issues and skills in strategic communications, she works with industry leaders and policymakers on strategies that best promote health and development outcomes for the world’s most vulnerable.
At Rabin Martin, Samantha focuses on:
- Developing socially responsible business strategies for multinational pharmaceutical companies to improve access to essential medicines in low-income countries and emerging markets
- Crafting communications materials in support of client initiatives, including press releases, speeches, and messages to stakeholders
- Monitoring international trends in research and innovation, intellectual property, and funding commitments to provide sound counsel to clients
Samantha joined Rabin Martin after working as a consultant with both non-profit and private sector institutions in the domain of international development. She has been a strong advocate for advancing neglected topics onto the global agenda, particularly mental health. Samantha most recently worked at the United Nations Development Programme, where she assisted health-sector companies develop and scale-up inclusive business models and established a novel collaboration with the World Food Programme surrounding childhood nutrition.
