Founder and President of Women Deliver Jill Sheffield opened the third annual Women Deliver conference with the bold claim that the things we say, do and learn over the next three days will determine the future of the world’s women. Sheffield concluded her remarks by offering three tips on how to make the most of the conference:
- Broaden Your Horizons. Attend one session every day on a topic that is new to you.
- Dream Big. Take away one new idea from each session.
- Evolve and Act. Decide how you will change when you get home and what action you will take.
As we move into the second day of the conference, here are some of the inspiring quotes we’ve heard. Across sessions, speakers educated attendees about gender disparities and the importance of women’s health and empowerment.
