Asma has over 13 years of experience in evidence-based processes and tools to improve efficiencies and reduce disparities in healthcare through continuous quality improvement methodologies, data analysis, and outcomes evaluation. Her experience has been both at the local level at federally qualified health centers and community hospitals and globally (Southeast Asia).

Prior to joining the firm, Asma worked as a Performance Improvement Advisor at Community Solutions, where she helped eight diverse cities across the country eliminate homelessness. She also worked as a Data Analyst for the 18 Planned Parenthood health centers across Ohio, providing evidence-based insights to increase healthcare access and improve outcomes. Asma co-founded a free clinic in her local community that serves refugee and immigrant populations around the Cleveland area. Here, she was the Director of Performance Improvement where she fostered a culture of safety and quality in all processes to ensure patient-centered care and outcomes that promoted well-being.
