Caitland brings a wide range of public policy, advocacy, and research experience to Rabin Martin. She believes that addressing health inequities with a racial lens is crucial to improving health outcomes. She is specifically interested in working across sectors to bring awareness to the racial inequities that exist within public health.
At Rabin Martin, Caitland focuses on:
• Developing strategies to increase access to healthcare in the United States, with a particular focus on vulnerable and marginalized populations.
• Designing and implementing thought leadership platforms to elevate prioritized health areas.
• Providing technical and communications support to advance client initiatives.
Prior to joining the firm, Caitland served as a policy and programs analyst at the Office of the Mayor on the Commission on Gender Equity where she conducted research on maternal mortality and morbidity among Black women living in New York City. She also supported the team by assisting with the ideation and implementation of the Sexual Health Education task force, created to address sexual health education among youth in New York City schools.
