Shamama has over four years of experience in global health, research, and project management. She is passionate about working at the intersection of the private sector and public health to increase access to high-quality health care for all. At Rabin Martin, Shamama focuses on:
• Providing programmatic and communications support for a major global maternal health initiative
• Developing strategies to support pharmaceutical company engagement in global health
• Generating insights for thought leadership to strengthen public-private partnerships
Prior to joining the firm, Shamama worked as a Program Associate at Mathematica Policy Research where she managed a portfolio of international development projects and supported a range of philanthropic clients. She also conducted research at Mathematica in the global maternal health space. Most recently, Shamama interned at Johnson & Johnson as a part of her MBA program, where she became interested in the intersection between business and public health, and the powerful impact the private sector can make in global health.
