Get to know Hanne

Tell us a fun fact about your life outside of work.

My dad and I are both music freaks, so I am learning to play the guitar so I can jam out with him whenever I come home to visit. He has been playing for over 15 years, so I have a lot of catching up to do.

What is your area of expertise and how did you end up there?

As a result of my work on MSD for Mothers, and other account engagement happenstance, I have spent a lot of my Rabin Martin career focused on women’s health and gender equity. Additionally, I hope to grow my expertise in the climate and environmental health space, as it’s an essential component of the global health work we do at Rabin Martin every day.

What is your favorite aspect of Rabin Martin and the work you do?

My answer will forever and always be the people. I have learned so much, and continue to learn, from each and every person at Rabin Martin. I will always appreciate the team’s willingness to put our heads together and collaborate on projects for the betterment of each other and our clients.

What is your favorite Rabin Martin value?

Inclusivity! In my opinion, this value is more so an aspiration as opposed to something that can be achieved. The Rabin Martin team, including myself, is actively committed to fostering inclusivity and remaining open to consistency learning and building on our progress.

What are your biggest interests outside of work?

I am an avid rock climber and enjoy both indoor and outdoor bouldering. My latest feat is learning how to lead climb, which is a technical form of long rope climbing.

What’s the next place on your travel bucket list?

Either Switzerland, for its breathtaking mountain views and outdoor adventures, or another American National park. It’s on my bucket list to visit every National Park in the U.S.
