A multi-sectoral strategy for women and children’s health

In 2010 the UN Foundation, on behalf of the United Nations Secretary-General, retained Rabin Martin to design and implement a global strategy and effort to meet health development goals for women and children. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, along with global leaders from a wide range of sectors, joined in the launch of a concerted worldwide effort to save the lives of more than 16 million women and children.

Together they develop a pragmatic agenda for reducing the burden of NCDs and provide an initial roadmap for policy development and progress in the fight against these chronic conditions.
