Jesse has over five years of experience in global and domestic health care research and programming with a focus on sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS prevention, and the LGBTQ+ community. Through her experiences, she brings a passion for addressing the social determinants of health for marginalized populations, with an emphasis on utilizing an intersectional lens. At Rabin Martin, Jesse focuses on:

  • Conducting research and analysis to shape and enhance initiatives that improve global health equity, promote quality of care, and increase access to medicines
  • Generating insights for thought leadership and communications efforts to strengthen public-private partnerships
  • Providing technical, programmatic, and strategic support to advance client strategies

 

Prior to joining the firm, Jesse worked as the Director of External Relations at Hunter College’s PRIDE Health Research Consortium where she implemented HIV prevention-focused research projects at clinics and community-based organizations around the nation. She also worked as a Project Coordinator for Cicatelli Associates Inc. (CAI), where she supported the delivery of HIV prevention-related trainings at healthcare organizations around the U.S. Her previous experience also includes supporting the implementation of an mHealth study among men who have sex with men (MSM) in Accra, Ghana, supporting an outpatient HIV clinic in Accra, Ghana, researching the syndemic production of risk factors among young gay and bisexual men in NYC, as well as working on research focused on identity formation among transgender individuals in NYC.
