Rajni Samavedam is the Managing Partner at Rabin Martin – a leading global health impact consultancy that drives better outcomes, access and equity, from strategy to execution.

 

In this role, Rajni oversees all global client relationships and the delivery of Rabin Martin’s breadth of consulting services, primarily working with leaders in global pharma and major foundations who are unlocking growth and improving health for underserved and vulnerable people in the US, Europe and across Low-to-Middle Income Countries

 

Rajni has 25+ years of experience in health and life science consulting, public health research, as well as community-level understanding of global health challenges as the co-founder of an NGO in India that addresses women and child health and worked in partnership with Harvard Visions-Worldwide.

 

Prior to joining Rabin Martin, Rajni was a Principal at Booz Allen for 17 years where she led account strategy in life sciences and public health for government agencies. She has experience in public health research and program roles – from designing programs for leading institutions such as the National Cancer Institute, to performing original inquiry and novel research in the field of cardiovascular healthcare, to developing outcome metrics and measures for vaccine programs.

 

Rajni has a deep understanding of the heath ecosystem, engaging with pharma, government, NGOs, and hospital systems – and has worked across health areas including cancer, cardiovascular health, mental health, vaccines, pediatric, and reproductive health.

 

Rajni has a master’s degree in public health, specializing in reproductive epidemiology and maternal and child health, from the Drexel School of Public Health, a graduate certificate in research in developing countries from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a BA in Biology and Chemistry from Smith College.  Rajni lives in the US, where she and her husband are parents of twins.
