Rabin Martin Joins Friends of the Global Fight to Celebrate 10 Years of Progress in AIDS, TB and Malaria

This year, the Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Friends) marks a decade of supporting the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. On Tuesday, December 2, 2014, Friends commemorated this momentous occasion by hosting the 10th Anniversary and AIDS Leadership Celebration, which was co-convened by the Motion Picture Association of America. Global health luminaries including Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Sir Richard Feachem, founding Executive Director of the Global Fund and Ambassador Mark Dybul, the Global Fund’s current Executive Director joined global health champions in Congress U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (CA), Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC) and U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee (CA) and others to reflect on the progress made in HIV/AIDS. Attendees included leaders from government agencies, NGOs, foundations, think tanks and the private sector who have made significant contributions to the field. Rabin Martin was honored to co-sponsor the event together with Janssen, Abbvie, Merck & Co., Inc., Kenilworth, NJ USA, the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation, Gilead, Mylan and PSI. Rabin Martin President and CEO Dr. Jeffrey L. Sturchio and Director of Communications and External Engagement Tina Flores attended the celebration on the firm’s behalf.
